We boarded the bus from Ansley Mall around 1am and arrived in New Orleans around 7:30am. I had equipped myself with the wireless modem and began blogging before I put myself to sleep but the dreaded "can't find server" message displayed when I hit the send button. That was the last of the time I had to write until NOW.

I slept fairly well for being on a bus. As we approached the city you could see still signs of devastation everywhere. I could only imagine the stories that would be told to us throughout the weekend.

We unloaded at the hotel and wonder of wonders a SHOWER before we made our way over to the Superdome. All I can say is thank goodness our room was ready becasue I didn't get back to the hotel until after 1am. If I hadn't taken that shower I would not have felt comfortable getting in anyone's personal space.

We talked our AMAZING bus driver (who listened to us the entire trip go on and on about Vagina Power..I do believe his life was transformed) into dropping us off at the Superdome. We were supposed to go to the shipping area but they wouldn't let the bus stop there so we got off at the front entrance and WALKED with all of our stuff all the way around the stadium to the loading doack where we received our credentials which allowed us into the Lounge area.

As we made our way up to the 3rd level we could see all the women pouring in the entrances and many were already lining up outside of our lounge waiting for us to arrive! We quickly started unloading our things and began the set up process. Most of the artists had never worked with the Pro Faces makeup so making sure we had everything for everyone was quite the challenge. Within moments we were ready to go.
